The Arasan Ultra EMS Coat

The Arasan Ultra is my new warm EMS coat, built for hard work or harsh weather. The outer shell is durably constructed from tough 500-denier nylon. Zip out the fleece liner, and it’s a rugged high visibility Spring & Fall jacket.

This new high-tech EMS coat incorporates features from two different earlier designs. It uses the same durable 500-denier shell, with all the best features from both. The high wear areas are Navy Blue. They reduce the tendency of a high visibility garment to quickly look dirty.

It has pockets galore, including innovative 3 in 1 lower front pockets. Each has an outside patch pocket, an inside hand warmer pocket, and a hidden pocket for personal valuables. They are three pockets in one.

The Ultra also has both a radio pocket and cell phone pocket. There are even inside zippered pockets in both the liner and shell.

The liner is warm fleece and it has weather-tight knit cuffs. It can be quickly unzipped from the shell.

The overbuilt shell provides four layers of protection from abrasion in key areas. The armor pads in the shoulders make carrying heavy bags much easier. The elbow pads making getting down and dirty less dangerous.

Best of all the Arasan Ultra makes high-visibility look good. The advanced color-blocked design brings European style to America, combined with street-tough construction. The reflective trim is even edged in Navy Blue for a richly professional appearance.

Most Hi-Viz Coats are all-yellow with horizontal lines; They make everybody look like a fat banana. The Ultra looks great and will outlast two wimpy nylon coats. It is perfect for heavy rescue and hardcore EMS.

In short, its built more like a trauma bag than a coat. It will become your new best friend during a hard winter.
