News from Physio-Control; Update on What’s New in Medical Communications

Physio-Control’s LIFENET System 5.0 is now live across the U.S., U.K. and Canada and is available for immediate download to customers in those countries. LIFENET 5.0’s new features further streamline patient care through automated protocol activation and team member notification (LIFENET OnePush), remote physician consult decision support iPhone application (LIFENET Consult), integration of emergent patient data into hospital records systems (LIFENET ePCR Delivery) and the ability to track individual devices, monitor status and manage setup options and software updates (LIFENET Asset).

Existing LIFENET customers have been receiving notifications of the pending update from Physio-Control over the past several weeks in order for them to prepare to take advantage of LIFENET 5.0’s new features.

Additional information on LIFENET 5.0 can be found at http://www.checkoutthefuture.com/. LIFENET 5.0 images can be found at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/physio-control/. The LIFENET Consult app is available at the iPhone App Store at no charge.
