Forgotten, As Usual

For once I’m going to write something not for Paramedics,
they already know these facts. Today’s Blog is to everybody else who is not in
EMS (Emergency Medical Services).

  • In America we cherish our Police Officers, because they Arrest
    our Criminals.
  • We love our Fire Fighters because they Save our Buildings from Fire.
  • But the folks who
actually Save Lives, the Emergency Care Providers – about those people America could
    usually care less.

There was a video
link posted this morning
on JEMS. It is a frank interview with an EMT (Emergency
Medical Technician) who was a 911 Responder at the Twin Towers. Please take a
minute out of your day to watch it. Everything said is old news to the EMS
Community, but it may be real news to you. It tells the tale of false promises
to those who are trying to help save American lives every day.

    Hi Dan ~

Hope this finds you well.  I found the video link to be interesting … and sad.  I\’m not sure if that is how the system works here, but probably not since most firefighters ARE the EMS providers also.

    Thank you for sharing!

God bless you and keep you,
