Are you ready to build a community paramedicine program?

At the Philips Education Theatre at EMS Today 2014 (February 5-8 in Washington, D.C.), you can hear firsthand how communities are building community paramedicine programs. Visit our website to see a schedule and plan your visit.

You can also learn more by watching a recorded webinar featuring David Glendenning, EMS Education Coordinator at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. In the one-hour webinar, entitled: “Hospital System and EMS Collaboration: Driving Population Health Management through Community Paramedic Programs,” Glendenning discusses how the community paramedic fits within the context of the Affordable Care Act, how to build partnerships, and how to fund a community paramedicine program.

Hi dan great website mate congratulations.I trained in DC in 1995 with a guy called Geoff Scheulen old school DCFD (and other places) guy bloody fantastic. Anyway I digress. I wanted to get your opinion on something. If a person wanted to go to the united states and work what in your opinion would be the top say 10 websites they would need to access. I am also interested in your opinion as to who are the top 5 bloggers. The reason is that I am having trouble seeing the woods for the trees. Finland is the 3rd country I have worked in (USA/Australia) as a critical care paramedic and I see how disconnected we all are. The idea is not to reinvent the wheel as there are so many great sights like yours out there more develop a one stop shop that a guy can go to if he wanted to work say in the USA, UK, SW asia, South Africa Australia. Say I wanted to know what the accommodation that they are offering in the UAE looks like first hand or what tips a guy might need negotiating the visa, permit lines. Hope you are able to help. Have great new years mate

Dear David, Thanks a lot! Check out NYC EMS, AMR, Johnson County Medact in Kansas, Second Alarmers Rescue Squad in suburban Philadelphia, and Wake Forrest, NC EMS. Those are some of my favorites and Wake Forrest is hiring soon.
